What is the FNB eBucks Programme?
eBucks is First National Bank's loyalty and rewards programme, one of the largest in South Africa. Members earn eBucks (valued at R1 each) on qualifying transactions, product holdings, and everyday banking activities. eBucks can be redeemed at hundreds of South African retail and lifestyle partners.
The programme uses a tiered level system (Level 1 to Level 5). Higher levels unlock significantly higher earn rates — Level 5 members can earn up to 5% back on grocery spend at partner stores and 40 eBucks per litre of fuel, making it one of South Africa's most generous loyalty programmes for high-engagement banking customers.
To qualify for higher levels, members must deposit their salary into FNB, hold multiple qualifying FNB products (credit card, home loan, life cover, insurance, investments), and maintain an appropriate account tier. This calculator helps you understand exactly where you stand and what to do next.
